To the Editor of tho New Zealand lleiuld. Sib,—ln my statement before Mr. Beckham, yesterday, I spoke of Mr. Dunnot'a transactions with the Bank of Auckland. As it might from this bo supposed that I refei/ed to tho Directors of tho Bank, allow mo to explain that I referred not to them, but only to Mr. Johns, their lato manager. Mr. Dunnet.in his examination in the Bankruptcy Court, distinctly Btated that ho never hud dealings or negotiations with anvono connected with the Bank, except Mr. Johns.—T am, See., J. E.
