WHEREAS by Proclamation issued under my liand, and dated the 4th day of May, ISG7, I did proclaim and declare that all that Block of Laud being a portion of the Taulioa Block, bounded on the southeast by the Hoteo River, on the south-west by the JKiaipara River and the Piritaha Native Reserve to the mouth of the Hangahanga Biver, on the north-west by a line from the mouth of the Hangahanga Biver to the summit of Pariamahia, and on the north-east by a line from Pariamahia to Pukeko Creek on. the Hoteo Biver, estimated to contain about 1 9000 acres, as the same is delineated on the Plau in the Land Office, should be reserved and set apart for certain Immigrants, not being fewer than fifty above eighteen years of age, expected to arrive, or who shall have arrived, and desire to settle within the ; Province of Auckland. Now therefore, pursuant to the authorityvested in me in that behalf, I, the Superinl tendent of the Province of Auckland, do hereby revoke the said Proclamation. , Griven under my hand, at Auckland, this twenty-fifth day of June in the Tear of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and sixtyseven. By John- Williamson, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Auckland. j WHEREAS, by the second section of the '' Auckland Waste Lands Act, ISG6," it was enacted that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent by proclamation to declare that a certain block of land therein described shall be set apart and secured for certain immigrants, not being fewer than, fifty, above eighteen years of age, expected to arrive, or who shall have arrived and desire to settle within the Province of Auckland. Now, therefore, pursuant to the authority vested in me in "that behalf, I, the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, do hereby proclaim and declare that all that parcel of land, being a portion of the Taulioa Block, bounded on the north by the Papakanui creek, the Tepahi river, from its nioutli to Teruataniwha, and thence by a line to Te Ranga o Kakere on the Hotea river: on the south and east by the Hoteo river, and on the west by the Kaipara harbour, estimated to contain about 9000 acres, as the same is delineated on the plan in the Land Office, shall be reserved and set apart as provided for in the above recited Act as Special Settlement Land. UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent, by virtue of the "Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1866," I hereby notify for public information that so much of the Taulioa Block as has this day been set apart as Special Settlement Land, ■will be open to the persons for whom it has been set apart for selection and sale at the AYaste Lands Office, at Auckland, on and after the second day of September next, as Special Settlement Land.
