POLICE COURT.—THURSDAY.
(Before Thomas BecMiam, Esq., 8.M.) DRUNKENNESS. Mitchell Nesbitt, William Eyer, and Bridget Hawkey were punished for this offence. PROFANE LANGUAGE. Bridget Condron pleaded guilty to using profane and indecent language in Chancerystreet, and was sentenced to 7 days imprisonment with hard labour. LARCENY. Patrick Doyle, charged with stealing a coat, was remanded until Saturday next (to-morrow.) ANOTHER CASE. Thomas Beresl'ord was charged with stealing a piece of silk, value from tlic stores of Messrs. Graham and Co., \ r ulcan-lane. He pleaded not guilty, and. was remanded until to-morrow. ATTEMPTED SUICIDE. Josiali J. Dell was charged with having on Wednesday, the 2Gth instant, taken a quantity of deadly poison, to wit laudanum; thereby tending to a breach of the peace. He pleaded guilty, and was ordered to find two sureties of £25 each to be of good behaviour for three months. This concluded the business.
