GENTLEMEN, —At the request of many influential friends, whose names are on tho Electoral Roll for the City of Auckland West, I beg respectfully to offer myself as a Candidate to fill the vacancy in tho Provincial Council occasioned by tho election of John Williamson, Esq., to the Superintendency of the Province of Auckland. If you aro pleased to return me as your Representative, I shall do p.U in my power to aid in whatever may tond to the advancement and prosperity of the Province.
