Mails close as follow— For the Australian Colonies, and tlie United Kingdon. via Suez, per s.s. Auckland ; the registered letter, money order, and newspaper mails will close at ten, and the mails for ordinary letters at eleven a.m. this morning. For Taranaki and Nelson per s.s. Airedale, this day, at half-past 12 o'clock. For Poverty Bay, per Jsne, this day, at 3 p.m. For the United Kingdom, North and South America, West Indies, &c., via Panama, the registered letter and moneyorder mails will close this day, at 5 p.m., and the mails for ordinary letters, and newspapers, to-morrow morning, at nine o'clock. For Taranaki, and the Southern Provinces of New Zealand, per s.s. Wellington, the registered letter and money order mails will close this day, at 5 p.m., and the mails for ordinary letter?, and newspapers, to-morrow morning, at 9 o'clock. For Coromandel, per Enterprise No. 2, to-morrow at 11 a.m. For San Francisco, per Flying Cloud, to-morrow, at noon. W. COK BEIT, Chief Postmaster.
