AUCKLAND. New Zealand Herald Office, Wednesday afternoon. The Customs receipts for to-day amounted to £386 12s. 7d. — At Mr. George Sibbin'n land ealo, held to-day, the dwelling house, with well, outhouse, &c., and the allotments on which it is erected, in Oxford and Regent streets, Newton, was withdrawn at the upset price, £100. Also, the house and allotments, Glengarry, off Ponsonby-road, was withdrawn at tho low uppot price, £30. Messrs. Jones and Co. sold at auotion to-day, by ordor of the Kogi-trarof the Supreme Court, allotments Nos. 48, 49, 50, and 51, of subdivision of claim No. 209 of W. T. Fairburn, village of Ota'nuhu, containing over two acres, with the buildings thereon, for the sum of £120. At tlie sale of drapery goods, clothing, &c., held yesterday and to-day at tho stores of Mr. S. J. Edmonds, by Messrs. Turrell and Tonks, there was a good attendance, and fair prices wero obtained. Quotations are withheld. To-day Mr. L. W. Eaton sold at auct n pears. 2d per lb.; plums, 9d; grapos, 6d; quinces, 2d; onions, and. butter, 6d per lb.
