Messes. Abthub and Son will sell to-day. 30 bags of onions, potatoes, melons, pumpkins, 40 colonial cheeses, loaf sugar, salt, soap, jams, oatmeal, flour, butter, household furniture (new and second hand), poultry. Me. Alfred Buckland will sell to-day, at an upset price of os. an acre, 41 acres in Eaukapakapa (West;, 49 acres at Mangapai; also, 29 acres at Kaukapakapa (East); also, one horse-power flax machine, with gear complete; a well-bred mare and foal, a bay pony, and a good hack, belonging to Kirkwood's estate 2 farm mares, a good trotting mare, 6 yearling colts and fillies ; the racers, Nourmahal and Topsy; 50 tons of good wheaten straw, in Sir George Arnev's paddock, at an upset price of Bs. per ton also, 204 bags of prime Sydney maize, 2 strip ploughs, 4 swing ploughs, 1 drill plough. Mb. L. W. Eaton will sell to-day, 25,000 feet of kauri boards and scantling, in lots to suit purchasersalso, apples, quinces, onions, potatoes, colonial cheeses. Messbs. Hunter and Co. will sell to-day; at the Durham Yards, 50 bags of good Sydney maize, 50 bushels of rye-grass seed, 25 hacks, 20 light harness horses, 20 draught horses.
Messes. Jones and Co. will hold to-day, their usual weekly sale of beef, povk, innize, potatoes, bacon, clieesc, caudles, sugar, flour, tea, ale, porter, wines, spirits ; also, by order or the Registrar of the Supreme Court, an allotment in Hobson-street, with 2 shops thereon, formely the site of the Scotia Hotel. Mb. H. .Ridings will hold to-day an extensive sale of potatoes, onions, ale, tea, preserved salmon, cooking stoves, bagatelle table, doublebarrel gun, furniture, desks, four large marquees. Mr. C. Stiohburt will sell to-day, n large stock of candles and oilman's stores, cocoa, confectionery, potatoes, salt, bedsteads, drawers, couches," tables ; also, a supeiior weighingmachine (weighs C cwt.) Mb. George Sibbin will sell to-day, on the wharf, a new four-oared gig, 43 feet long (no reserve), 20,000 feet of kauri timber; also, 6000 shingles; also, wines, beer, spirits, and furniture, at the Courthouse Hotel, High-street. Messrs. Turret,i, and Tonks will sell today, 4Slbs. of black Hamburgh grapes, 16 ditto grapes for preserving ; 121bs. of tomatoes, for sauces ; oilmen's stores, preserved fruits, <&c.
