Compensation Court, Auckland, Ist OctoDer» 1866, NOTICE is hereby given that a Sitting of the Compensation Court will be holden at NGARUAWAHIA on the 7th of January noit, and fallowing days, to investigate the Claims of persons to Compensation on account of the takin?, under sundry orders in Council made in pursuance of the New Zotland Settlements Act, ISR3, of the undermentioned Bbeks of Land in the District of Waikato. All that Land known a* tho Kupa Kupa Block, and estimated to contain th>ee thousand five hundred (3503) acres, bounded on the East by the Waikato River, on tho North by line running from the junction of tho Wabi Lako outlet and the River Waikato, 1 "West by compass three miles, thence on the West by & line running South by compass to the Awa o to Atua River, and thence on the South by the Awa o te Atua River. RANGIRIRI BLOCK. I All that land called the Rangiriri Block, bounded ( on the North by a line extending from the Noithern < bounda-y of the Waikari Lake West (magnetic) to the Waikato River, on tho West by tho Waikato River, on the East by tho Waikari Lake, and on the South by a line extending West (magnetic) from the Southern boundary of tho Waikari Lake to the Waikato River, excepting land granted to tho lato Mr. Armitage at Rawhitu. All that land called the Mangawhara Block, bounded on the North by the Mangawhara River, on the West by the Waikato River, on the South by a line from the junction of the Waipa and Horotiu Rivers running East three miles, and thenee on the East by a line running North to the Mangawhara River aforesaid, excepting the Church of England School grant at Hopuhopu. CENTRAL WAIKATO, All that land bounded on tho North by a line commencing at Raglan, and proceeding to the Whangape Lake, and along tho South aide of Whangape Lake to its junction with the Waikato j River, down the Waikato River to Maungatawhiri, thence to Pukorokoro; on the South by a line proceeding from Whaingaroa Harbour to Waitetvina River, thence by the Waitetuna River to its source, thanee by a straight line to the summit of the Pirongia Range, thanee to the summit of Kapanwhunga and Hakarimata Ranges to a line running East to the junction of the Waipa asd Horotiu Rivers, thence by that line to tlie said junction, and by a line extending East from such junction to the North-eastern angle of the Military St ttlements Land constituted a District under the " New Zealand Settlements Act, 1863," on the 29th December, 18Gi, and on the East by a straight line extending from the North eastern angle of the said Military Settlements Land to the most Easterly source of the Matahuru River, th-nce by a straight Jine extending to the summit of the Rataroa .Range, and by the summit of the Rataroq, Range to the Maungakawa summit, and thence in a « straight line to Pukorokoro aforesaid.
