A large amount of improvement is now going on about Williamson's Clearing.. Mr. Martyn is commencing to drain on a very large scale, and fast.clearing his land, having made preparations to set fire to. a.large.quantity stumped; I understand Dr. Wood, Papakura, Mr. William Hay, near Papalcura, and the othor members of the committee appointed to mak* an examination regarding the Korikeri limestone, have leit for that: purpose this morning. The Great South Boad Hotel here, for some time unoccupied, is again rooponed by Mr, Castledine, of this village.
