The Wild Wave. — Ihe centre-board ketch Wild Wave, which recently arrived here from Lyttelton, has undergono extensive repairs and alterations, • :it the hands of Mr. Beddoes, North Shore. She lias had new decks, bulwarks, <£c., her rig altered to topsail schooner, and the centre-board and case taken •oat of her, in fact, she has been almost made a new reiscl. The "Wild Wave is owned by Captain Iwersen, and may be expected over at the wharf to load for the South, about Tuesday next. The Speed welli. —We learn that the ketch Speedwell, Captain Brown, was loading at Wangaroa for this port on Monday last, and may therefore be hourly looked for. New Vessel.—Mr. Beddoes has laid down at hi 3 yards, North Shore, the keel of a largo thraa-masted schooner, to the order of a Southorn firm.

The cutter Smuggler, Captain Peter/itn, arrived yesterday from Wangarei with a cargo of produce, •&c., and 4 passengers. The brigantine Vistula, Captxin Paton, siiled yesterday afternoon for Sydney, witlrher original cargo ot hides, tallow, woo), &c., from Napier ; she also took seven passengers.

The barque Eliza Shairp, Captain W. Gay, clearod at the Customs yesterday for Sydney, in ballast, and will sail this morning. The schooner Mapere, Captain Thwaitea, arrived in harbour yesterday from Port Charles, Great .Barrier, with a cargo of 25,000 feet sawn timber, and 3 passengers.

The Bay of Islands regular trader Sea Breeze, Captain W. Morris, sailed ag>iin for Russell yesterday afternoon, with a full cargo and 11 passengers. The s.s. Star of the South, Captain Bendall, may be expected to-day from Napier via the Tamaki, with another cargo of sheep. The schooner Jane. Captain Faulkner, sailed yesterday morning for Wairoa, Hawke's Bay, with a cargo of stores, &c.

The schooners Zillah and Neva, for Tahiti, are fast filling up, und will sail the beginning of tho ensuing week..
