BAZAARS.
The Orphan Home Bazaar was continued, yesterday in Hobson's Buildings, Shortland-street. The weather at the end of last week prevented many persons from availing themselves of the opportunity of visiting the Bazaar, and a considerable number of ai tides being left unsold on Saturday night, the ladies determined upon opening their ware-room again, to-day, and thus doing all they possibly could to further tho interests of the Orphan Home, for which thev had laboured so zealously on previous days. TVe are glad to know that the Orphanage wiil receive a very substantial aid through the Bazaar and [ Faucy Pair; and the reflection on this will be deemed ample reward by those ladies whose nimble finders have made the articles offered for sale at the Bazaar, and those who have also attended at the stalls, both in Government House grounds, and also in Hobson'sßuiMines. There svas also a Bazaar held yesterday, and will be continued to-day and to-morrow, in the Parnell Dramatic Hall, for the purpose of providing funds to liquidate the debt 011 the Hall. The Bazaar will be open from twelve o'clock noon to four o'clock, and will then be closed till six o'clock, when it will be re-opened. One-half of the Hall will, after that hour, be devoted to the Bazaar, and the other half for the use of those visitors who may desire to danco, A Baud is in attendance at that time.
We cannot and need not enter into lengthened account of the articles offered r sale. They are, of course, of the usual and ornamental kind to be found at BazaW The promoters of this particular Bazaar a ' anxious to clear off the debt on their exceCt hall, and we trust they may meet with success The room is an exceedingly useful one forbotl, theatrical and other entertainments, and also fo public meetings, and is a. credit to the p arn °u Dramatic Hall Company which built it if 1 shall be glad, therefore, to know that it i s entirely free from debt, so tliat the company mil not have that incubus pressing on them, and all those who patronise the Bazaar will effectived aid in this laudable effort.
