A vote of thanks to tiu ladies who presided was givon in a very eloquent manner by the Rev. R. McKinncy, and seconded by Mr. ST. \V. Munro ; and a vote of thanks to tho harmonic society for thoir kindness by Mr. M. \V. Munro, seconded by Mr. John Grimmer, and very ably responded to by ilr. Wm. Denham. Tho proceedings of the evening terminated shortly beforo eleven o'clock with tho national anthem and bonodiction.
