Again, at Peterborough, 1802, he took the prize,beating six others; and again, at Peterborough in October, 1863, ho took the first prizo of £20, beating a large field of his class —thus proving himself to be one of tho best horsea that England can produce. THE SPLENDID DRAUGHT HOESS CHAMPION HERO. CHAMPION HERO stands 17 hands high on short legs, is a beautiful black, very active, full of bone, with great muscular power. Champion Hero was got by Mr. Lister's Young Hero, clmm ion of England. His dam, a superior mare, was got by Young Active, the property of Mr. Tliackcr, of Camviek ; his sire Die property of the same, which took tho p'ize at tho Royal Agricultural Show at Cambridge, and at a great many others. Clrimpion Hero was bred in Lnglund, and was allowed by competent judges to be the best two-year-old colt shown at the renowned fair, Horncastle. He was carefully selected, at enormous expense, especially for tho Antipodes, and can bo safely recommended as a sure and valuable stock-getter.
