MEETING OF THE PROVINCIAL COUNCIL.
Tub Council, out readers will porceivo, lias beau summoned for Tuosday, tho 12lh inst. A. Provincial Government Gazette was published on Saturday, containing tho following proclamation : — Whereas by an Act mado and passed in tho fiftoenlli and sixteenth yoirs of the reigu of her present Mejosty, intituled '* an Act io grant a Representatives Constitution to tlio colony of Row Zealand " it is amongut other things enacted that it shall bo lawful for the Superintendent, by proclamation in the Government Gazette to fix such place or places within the limits of tho Province, and such time 3 for holding tho first and every other session of tho Provincial Council as he may think fit. Now, therefore, pu-suant to tho authority in mo vested in that behalf, I, tho Superintendent oftho Proeinco of Auckland, do hereby proclaim mid declare that, the nineteenth session oftho Prnvineial Council sliaU bo holden at Aucklard, and shall commence on Tuesday tho 12th day of December, 1865; and tho members of tho said Council ar« hereby warned to giro their attendance at the said time and place accordingly.
