accompanied by a short address from Colonel Hamilton, in which he expressed his extreme pleasure in seeing Sergt.-major Kenny wear tnfc medal, and hoped that when their connection should terminate, his career would be no less successful, and his worth still more rewarded than they had hitherto been. . Sergt.-mnjor Kenny's public and private character have won him the admiration of his commanding officer, and the esteem of the men, and in no instance could the distinction nowconferred be better merited.
