(Before Geo. Kidd and 15. Home, Esqrs.. J.P.) Two drunkards, named Home and Smith, were mulcted in tho usual penalty, or, in default., elite need to forty-eight hours imprisonment with hard labour. LARCENY. James Thompson was charged with stealing a piir of patent water-proof boots from the shop o!' Mr. Kevin in Queen-street. Geo. Kevin deposed that he was the son of Thomas Kevin, boot and shoemaker, Queen-street. He identified the boots produced, which were his father's property. They were stolen on Wednesday la-t, and were value for twenty-five shillings. The prisoner pleaded guilty and was sentenced to four months imprisonment and hard labour.
