There was no doubt that this Mini would he forthcoming when all the parties who subscribed could be called oil for their subscriptions. Tho truth was thnt many of these gentlemen lived at great distances, and they were not to be- met. with at all times. Mr. Grigg said it was also to bo remembered that on the occasion of tho dinner, several of the officers were invitid by the committee. Ilr. Robertson said be had not taken that into his account. Grigg inquired whether any suggestions bad been made to tho treasurer in respect to holding ■.mother cattle show. Mr. Robei tson and several gcntlimen thought that before another cattle show should be held, there should bo foniiarrangement come to in.respect to the disbursements necessary and their probable return. At present tho returns from tho last cattle show had been far from satisfactory, lie thought that the question of another cattle show should bo left till those who had been so anxious for the last had complied with tho obligations into which they had entered. * This concluded the business of tlio meeting.
