WELLINGTON FIRE RELIEF FUND.
At « meeting of the Subscribers to the Fund raised for the sufferers by the fire pf 9th November, 1842, held at the .Exchange, Monday, December 11,. 1843.-^-Mr. E. Johnson in r the Chair. It was proposed 'by Colonel Wakefield, and seconded by Samuel Revans, Esq. : — 1. That the balance of ,the Fire Jteljef Subscription now in ftaniLbe frPPfted in aid .qf the establishment of a Pubjic Hcppital in Wellington.—Carried unanimously. . ■ Proposed by James Kelhara, Esq., and seconded by William Vavasour, Esq. •;■« ■ 2. That the Members of the Committee appointed to sign cheques on the B,an.k, be authorised to pay over the said balanpe to tb> Treasurer of the PJospital when appointed. — Carried unanimously.
