rpHE Directors of ithe New Zealand Banking _L Company, at present established at Auckland, and at Kororareka in the Bay of Islands, having proposed to establish a Branch at. Port Nicholson, with a view to facilitate the commercial intercourse between the different settlements in the Colony, have determined to place 1500 Shares at the disposal of the inhabitants of • Port Nicholson. AH parties therefore, interested in the question, who may be disposed to participate in this arrangement, are invited to meet at the Library and' Museum on Thursday next, the 2nd of September, at 1 o'clock, when a statement of the affairs of the Bank, together with all necessary information, will be submitted to them by the Deputation appointed for that purpose by the Directors at Auckland.
