ALLEN'S PORT NICHOLSON HOTEL AND TAVERN. rjIHE Stewards of the above Society beg most I respectfully to inform the ■vvorkirig classes and others, that they have had their first monthly meeting, and passed rules that will be of great benefit to any who may become members of the same. At they same time, they beg to inform their friends they have arranged for their next monthly meeting to take place on Monday evening, July 13, when every member will be furnished with a copy of the rules. N.B. Any person wishing information on the above subject, can see the articles by calling upon M.r Allen. PORT NICHOLSON HOTEL AND TAVERN. J ALLEN begs to inform his friends and • the public, that he has opened his New House, and is happy to state that he'Tias good Beds, and every accommodation upjtm the most reasonable terms. The boat Ejiterprize will' start from his House every morning at 9 o'clock, for Thorndon, for the conveyance of Passengers and parcels, and return in the evening. N.JB. In connexion with the above, J. A. has his Butcher's Shop, Grocery, Provision, and Drapery Stores, where the public can be supplied with every article in the above branches, and with good and cheap oil, cotton, &c. &c. MR. THORNTON. A "LAD named Thomas Curry states that he is nephew to Mr Thornton, recently of the' B.ay of Islands, and that he expected to find that gentleman here. It is not known whether Mr. Thornton is at Port Nicholson, but whether he is or not. if he is desirous of meeting his nephew, by applying at this Office he can do so. June 27, 1810.
