Henry Ford, of motor-car fame, is said to be seeking to acquire Cork Racecourse and the ..river frontage for the* purpose of ■ establishing a motor factory, costing at least £200,000. He offers £10,000 for the freehold, and undertakes to employ 2000 adults at one shilling an hour. .The proposal was still under consideration when last mail was posted. ,
