FOR VALOUR. The late Captain A. J". Shout, who has been awarded the Victoria ' Cross for conspicuous bravery at Lone Pine (Gallipoli). He also recently won the Military Gross and also received promotion for gallantry in the South African war. He is the son of Mr. A. J. Shout, of Trentham, and leaves a widow and young datcghter.
