Principally owing to the fault of the printer, the public who have not seen them at work regard Mav Erne and He (now appearing at His Majesty's) as a trio. Such, however, is not the case. Originally the act was billed as "May Erne-and He of the Voice." For brevity's sake, on their posters several managers cut the last three words off the title, and eventually this was adopted by the pair. Their real name is Mr. and Mrs. Erne Chaster.
