The Hon. Mr. Herdman, Minister of •Justice, announces in another column that he" will deliver a political address in the Town Hall to-night in reply to Sir Joseph Ward's recent speech. It is to "be hoped for the credit of the city that Mr. Herdman will be given a fair hearing. He is a fair fighter himself, and a good speech may be anticipated.
