MATCH v. MUNSTER, Tuesday, November 28th, 1905.

New Zealand team: Full, Booth; three-quarters, McGregor, Smith, Abbott five-eighths, Stead and Mynott; half, Roberts; forwards, Glasgow,

Cunningham, Nicholson, Newton, Corbett, Macdonald, Mackrell, Gillett. Referee, Mr. J. M. Magee, Dublin. This match was played on, a rough, uneven ground, but the turf was in good holding condition, the attendance numbering abooxt 3000 or 4000. The home team were overmatched from th& first in every department of . the game, and detailed description, of the play is almost superfluous. In the first spell five tries, one converted, and a penalty goal were scored, and in the second half three more tries, two converted, were put on, the final score being 33 to nil. Smith had the misfortune to bruise his shoulder during the first term, and retired altogether in the early part of the second. For the rest of the game the wing-forward was dispensed with, and Gillett went full, McGregor centre, and Booth wing three-quarter. Stead 1 try, Glasgow goaled, 5. total, 33 points. There were some very fine bouts of passing in the game, notably the sixth try, which went through seven hands. The team generally played excellent football, but were never really extended.
