IN connection with the above. HOLIDAY EXCURSION TICKETS at Id and 2d per mile will be issued from New Plymouth-Palmerston and intermediate stations to Wellington on FRIDAY, 12th August, and from Wanganui-Palmei ston and intermediate stations by SPECIAL MORNING TRAIN ONLY, on SATURDAY, 13th August, available for return up to< and including WEDNESDAY, 17th August. NOTE. — Excursion tickets will not be issued at Palmerston by the ordinary morning tiain leaving that station at 6.50 a.m. on Saturday, 13th August. Passengeis desiring to travel by that tram must take ordinary tickets. On Company's line from LangbumParaparaumu, and intermediate stations, Holiday Excuision Tickets will be issued to Wellington by traans leaving Loneburn at 12 noon and 5.40 p.m. on Friday, 12th August, and ordinary morning ti am on Saturday, 13th August, available for letum till 17th August. From Paikakanki and intermediate stations to Wellington, DAY RETURN TICKETS will be issued on Saturday, 13th August available for return on that day only.

TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. On Saturday, 13th August, in addition to the oidmaiy train, a special tram (connecting with a special leaving Wanganui at 5 a.m.) will leave Palmerston at 8.40 a.m., and arrive Wellington at 12.40 p.m. This tram WILL NOT STOP BETWEEN LONGBURN AND PLIMMERTON for passengers, BUT WILL STOP where requned FROM PAREMATA to Wellington. Passengers for all stations between Longburn and Plimmerton must travel by the 6.50 a.m. ordinary train. The usual Saturday traan from Phmmerton at 5.45, arriving Wellington 7.0 p.m., WILL BE CANCELLED, and will not run. A special train will leave Wellington at 5.55 p.m., arriving at Palmerston at 10 20 p.m., and connecting there with a special for Wanganui. Passengers for Palmerston and North of there must travel by this train. THIS TRAIN WILL STOP ONLY AT CROFTON, KHANDALLAH, AND JOHNSONVILLE, AND WILL NOT STOP BETWEEN JOHNSONVTLLE AND LONGBURN. The usual 4 p.m. train to Palmerston will be delayed to leave Wellington at €.25 p.m., and will reach Palmerston at 11 30 p.m. This train will take passengers for all station® except Crofton, KhandaJlab, Johnsonville, Tawa Flat, Pukerua, Hadfield, and Makerua.
