FitzGerald Bros.' New Circus.
The above combination of circus and menagerie will arrive by special steamer on Sunday next, from Christohurch. On this occasion there are many changes, and probably only a couple of the old turns to be seen, as many sensational novelties figure on the new programme. Amongst these is "The Cycle Whizz.". The zoological circus is one of the most sensational the world has yet seen, the an mals being put through their acts by their respective trainers. The programme, too includes the most famous of serial artists that have yet been seen . * * • Among them are • Madame Amelia, the greatest of her class on serial swing and trapeze, Master Bertie, a noted young trapezist and revolving bar performer; the Leon Family of acrobats, tumblers, riders, etc., performing a record of revolutions on the ground ; the wonderful Tylers, in their new feats of fool>balancing and risley acts; and; Hadji Ta,bar. the eWer Arabian conitortionist. Then, there are the high-jump-ing horses, headed by the champion horse. Bramble, which recently jumped 6ft 3in at the Bend'co (Victoria!) Show. The whole show will arrive by speciallychartered steamer on Sunday next, and will set up their huge canvas tents on the vacant allotment of land opposite To Aro railway station, where a season of six nights and two afternoon performances will be given.
