TO THE RATEPAYERS SEATOUN ROAD DISTRICT. HERBERT RAWSON. CANDIDATE. The election foi seats on the Boaid takes place on FRIDAY, 2nd MAY. I have been your lepiesentative for six yeais, and am seeking le election. The expeiience of local needs gained in the distiict, as well as expeiience gained in enquuing into municipal matteis abioad, is at jour service. Every \ote east for RAWSON is cast foi expeiience and foi the betteiment of the distiict, which is peculiaily in need of expeiienced guidance just now. The distnct's interest is my inteiest and I ha\e always stood for pi ogress. You aie already aw aie of my \iews on the need foi a piopei scheme of sanitation, which I demonstiated to you in public. I ha\e taken keen inteiest in tiee-planting, and have by example and influence already done some good in this dnection. Means of ea\\ access means the ad\anee ot settlement and piospenty in the distiict and this I have alwa\s advocated. It will be remembered that thiee jears ago I ad\ocated the lighting of the distiict by electnc light, and peisonally obtained the legislatne means for doing this should the district wish it. Theie is no need foi me to pledge myself anew to a pohcj I ha\e consistently advocated with and influence. My past sen ices should speak toi m_> futme pertoimances.
