On SATURDAY, 29th DECEMBER, the 7.2/5 a.m. train from Wellington will run through to New Plymouth, connecting there with steamer for Auckland. The 4 p.m. train from Wellington will connect at Palmerston with a train for Wanganui, reaching there at 1.35 a.m. on Sunday, 30th December. A train will leave Palmerston at 11.45 p.m. on Saturday, 29th December, and run to Wellington, arriving there at 5.30 a.m. on Sunday, 30th December.

The 4.50 p.m. train from Palmerston WILL NOT STOP at Linton, Makerua, Hadfield, Otaihanga, Pukerua, Tawa Flat, or Crofton.

DAY RETURN TICKETS will be issued from Wellington to stationsi on the Company's Line as far as Paikakariki by trains on Sunday, 30th December, and Tuesday, January Ist (New Year's Day), available for return on day of issue only. -And at same fares from Paikakariki and stations to Wellington on New Year's Day, Tuesday, January Ist.

On 29th and 31st, Special Trains for Masterton will leave Te Aro at 6.55 a.m. and 6.33 p.m., Wellington 7.10 a.m. and 6.47 p.m., and a Special Train will leave Masterton for Te Aro at 5.25 p.m. On Ist JANUARY, 1901, the time-table will be the same as for the 26th December, 1900, except that the train leaving Te Aro at 7.48 and Wellington at 8.5 a.m. for Masterton will take Featherston and Masterton passengers only, and will not stop between Featherston and Masterton, but the train leaving Te Aro at 9 a.m. and Wellington at 9.15 a.m. for Upper Hutt, will run through to Masterton, stopping at all stations, if required. An extra train for Te Aro, taking passengers from Masterton and Featherston only, stopping at other stations only to put down passengers, will leave Masterton at 5.45 and Featherston at 7.5 a.m. For full particulars see handbills.
