At the Triangle on Tuesday, not many cattle were penned, they were dairy stock, and sold freely, best cows (fringing £2O each. A full market of sheep sold at good rates. Napier merinos, three-fourths fat, brought 21s. to 28s. each; Australian wethers, ex Hydra, 17s. G<l. each.

At Newmarket on Thursday (being the race day nut many store cattle were brought forward) fat cattle were in full supply, about 100 head sold High rates ruled throughout, best quality bringing 455. to 50s. the IOOIbs.

The sheep market was fully supplied with wethers, generally in good condition. Merinos brought from 20s. to 28s. each. Half-bred Leicester, 28s. to 'A-is. each, with a free sale. Pigs were more plentiful than usual, there was a steady enquiry for them, and all sold at fully late rates.
