The following persons were awaided prizes at the Exhibition for their contributions. The diploma for each one has been received from the Commissioners, and may be obtained on application at the office of Messrs. J. Roberton and Co., Queen-street; —Air. Kennedy, saddlery ; Air. Whitson, bottled ale, &c.; Air. James Wright, pottery; Air. F. E. Manning, wood floats, in lieu of cork ; Air. B W. Gee, kauri gum ; Alessrs. Win-nick. Brothers, soap and candles ; Air. W. Bruce, stuffed birds ; Air. G. Boyd, drain pipes and tiles ; Air. A. Seufert, inlaid furniture; Air. John Grigg, superior Leicester woo!; Air. A. McEweu, Cayenne pepper, and snuff made from colcnial tobacco ; Air. George AVebster, excellence of his jams ; Alessrs. C. and J. Ring, specimens of Auckland woods; Air. Robert Graham, stone and coal from the Bay of Elands; Alessrs. Combes and Daldy, Coral Queen Island, guano and kauri gum ; Dr. Knight (exhibited by his Excellency Sir George Grey, K.C.B ), collection of mosses students of St. John’s College, collection of ferns ; AlissE. Somerville, paper flowers ; Mrs. E. Craig, raw silk.
