AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK MARKET. MR. ALFRED BUCKLAND'S WEEKLY REPORT, At the Hnymarket, on Saturday last, fodder was in limited supply, and previous week's advance was sustained. Tlio horse stock offered was generally of n light stamp ; prices ruled low. For tlio artillery horses an average of £7 13s. Od. was obtained. The allotments at Springbank brought lis. and 9s. Cd. per foot respectively. Large sales of cattle have during the week been effected ; for good stores and growing cattle late prices hnvo been fully maintained. Fat cattle, medium, and light weights have also maintained their prices, but large sized fat cattle were lower in price. In the sheep market numerous small pens of ewes have been offered, but generally of an inferior quality. Prices aro lower than a few weeks since. Fat sheep wero in full supply and of good quality"; better prices were obtained for them by 2s. per head than ruled in previous week's market.
