PRINCE OF WALE'S THEATRE.
Last night, the performance at this theatre was under the patronage of Colonel Greer, C.8., and the officers of the 65th Regiment, prior to their departure for England. The evening's entertainment commenced with Tom Taylor's comedy of an " Unequal Match," in which Mr. Edwards and Miss Juno appeared—the first as Dr. Botcherby, and the latter as Hester Grazebrook. The impersonations were well sustained and elicited frequent bursts of applause from the audience. The acting of Miss Juno was remarkably fine, and Air. Edwards as the " Doctor " had an opportunity of displaying that versality of talent of which he is so fortunately possessed. Nor should we omit to mention the Misses Corcoran and Messrs. Batson and Haygarth. This latter was as funny as usual and called down hearty bursts of laughter by the quaint way in which he expressed his likes and dislikes. The " Unequal Match " will be repeated tonight, to conclude with " The Bride of Abydos."
