INQUEST.
Yesterday afternoon an inquest was held beforu Dr. M. PhilsoD, at the Alexandra Hotel, Piirnell, upon the body ol Charles Lcgg, aged . r )0, who died suddenly during the night of Thursday or early yesterday morning. I t appears that deceased had been slightly ill for gome weeks past, and lie retired to bed about nine o'clock on Thursday night in better health than he had been for some days before. In the morning, on awakening at six o'clock, his wife discovered liim to bo dead. It was stated that deceased had been a hard drinker, lie worked np to 4 o'clock on Thursday, he being a contractor employed under Mr. Grace on the railway. After a careful consideration, the jury returned a verdict that deceased died by visitation of God, die result of disease.
