The following are the diseases under treatment: Phthisis pulmonalis, 14; rheumatism, 8; paralysis, 8; heart disease, 2; ophthalmia, 5; stricture, 1 ; ulcers,.'!; wounds and contusions, 4 ; dysentry, 4 ; fistula, 2; hernia, 1; fever, 2; old and infirm, 21; epilepsy, 3; venereal disease, 2 ; blindness, 2 ; scrofula, 3 ; fractures, 4 ; diseases of bones, 3; amputation, for injury, 1 ; uterine disease, 3 ; gun-shot wound, 1; pleuritus, 1 ; scirrhus of stomach, 1 ; dyspepsia, 1. —Roiiert E.
