ARRIVAL OF THE SHIP ULCOATS. The ship Ulcoata, Captain Potts, left Gravesend on the 3rd March, and- passed the Downs on the stb. Had to beat down, and anchored in Dungenesa Roads the same night On the 6th weighed anchor and proceeded, and on the 9th took her final departure from the Lizard. Sighted Madeira and the Canary Isianis, and got the N.E. trades in 98 deg. N, Patasd inside the Cape de Verde Islands. Lost thc N.E. trades in 4 deg. N. on the Slst March, and on the 6th April, in 2 deg. N., got the S.E. trades, crossing the {line on the twentyninth day out. Sighted Trinidad on the 17th, when she lost the S.E. trades, and experienced light baffling N.E. winds hem there to the meridian of the Cape, which was passed on May 16. ‘Hie easting was ran down between 48 deg. and 50 deg. 8, Passed Van Dieman’s Land on June I*.* While off Van Dieman’a Land, had light variable winds for five days. Made the Three Kings on the 23rd, and had light winds along the coast. Had the cross-jack yard blown away in a heavy gale, which she experienced in 97 deg, E,, while running down her easting. The Ulcoata brings 100 passengers, under the can of Dr, T. F« Baker. The ship has been ex-

cecdingly healthy throughout. No deaths have occurred; there was one birth. Testimonials (of which wo give copies) were presented to the captain and doctor. The Ulcoate brings a large general cargo, consigned to Mr. David Nathm.

The new cutter Telegraph, which was launched on Saturday last by Messrs. Brown and Sims, at the North Shore, will be ready to rna\e her trial trip by Wednesday or Thursday next. She is 30 tons measurement, and copper-bottomed and is what may be called a decked cargo-boat, fit for general use. She will be under the command of Air. Hargreaves. The Kate, cutter, arrived yesterday from Taurangs, in ballast. The regular trading schooner Tanranga arrived yesterday from Tauranga. The ship Ulcoats arrived from London yesterday,

with a large general cargo and 100 passengers.— D. Nathan, agent. The .mckland, s.s, entered inwards at the Customs yesterday. She will proceed to the South as soon as possible.
