Eclipse, 4 guns, Captain Freemantle, arrived on Saturday evening from the East Coast, bringing up the Bishop of New Zealand, and the Rev. Mr. Grace and Mr. Lew, who ha ; been recited from the Pai Marri fanatics. A full report of her trip will be found in another column. ARRIVAL OF THE DREDRICH PENTZIEN, FROM ADELAIDE. The brig Dredrich Pentzien, 245 tons, Captain Dahm, left Adelaide on the 18th ulto., and had light variable winds until the 9 th instont, when she encountered a heavy gale from S.E., veering round to S.W., with tremendous sea. In one of the heavy lurch -s, the cargo shifted, giving her a slight list. The Kings were made on the 14th, and she had light weathet on the ciast, anchoring on Satnrday afternoon. She reports passing a three masked schooner, on Friday night, off the Cavalhos, bound to the Northward. The Dredreeh Pentzien brings a cargo of flour, wheat, and hay, and is consigned to Thornton, Smith, and Frith. ARRIVAL OF THE AU REVOIR, FROM MELBOURNE. The brigantine Au Revoir, 138 tons, Captain Wa'sinJ left Melbourne on the 27th ulto., and experienced very bad variable weather till the 12th instant. The North Cape was made last Tuesday, and she has had light weather on the coast, anchoring yesterday at 11 a.m. She bring six passengers and a general cargo, and is consigned to A. Woolley ani Co. ARRIVAL OF THE MARIPOSA, FROM SYDNEY. The brigantine Mariposa, 164 tons, Captain Hardy, left Sydney on the 4th March. Had variable winds and calms for t«-o days, an 1 then a gale of wind from the S.E., with j an exceedingly heavy sea, from S.E. to S."W. for fortyeight hours, afterwards light variable weather. Made the I Kmgs on Thursday, and came to an anchor here yesterday, at noon. The Mariposa brings seven passengers and a general cargo, and we have to thank Captain Harley for full files of Sidney papers to the 4th. The Kate had not arrived in Sydney up to the 4th. Henderson and Macfarlane, agents. ARRIVAL OF THE ALARM, FROM NEWCASTLE. The brig Alarm, 195 tons, Captain Chadwick, left Newcastle on the 3rd March. Light and variable winds all the passage, and anchored at 6 p.m. yesterday. She brings 282 tons coals, and is consigned to Henderson and Macfarlane. ARRIVAL OF THE CONSTAKCE, FROM ADELAIDE. The barque Constance, 341 tons, Captain Elliott, left Adelaide on the 22nd ultimo with head winds and variable weather; sighted a large ship and brig in Bass

Straits bound to the eastward, on March 3rd ; from the 4th to the Bth had light variable weather, with heavy N.TT. swell; at 10 p.m. the wind at S.E., very squally, and with every appearance of bad weather, kept the ship away to the northward, under double-reefed topsails and foresail; at midnight, wind S.S.E.; at 6 a.m., 9th, wind S., sea increasing, vessel laboring heavy and shipping large quantities of water ; at noon, wind S.W., with high cross sea. Barometer 29 ° . March 10th— Better weather, although still blowing hard and confused sea. On the 11th, at 8 a.m., saw a vessel to the N.E. with a signal of distress flying ; ran down to her, and found she was the Bombay, from London to Auckland with passengers, and had lost her bowsprit, mainmast, fore and mizen topmasts, and had only a foresail and mizen staysail set. The master requested to be taken in tow ; hove-to, and received her warps and proceeded, lattitude 31 ° 20' S., longitude 166 ° 29' E., at 3 a.m. 13th—Parted the tow rope and hove-to till daylight, when the captain of the Bombay said he could get along without assistance, and requested the Constance to report him at Auckland. Captain Elliott made sail accordingly, and arrived here yesterday at 2 p.m. The Constance brings a cargo of wheat, flour, &e.—Henderson and Macfarlaue, agents.
