The rates include the Colonial Ship Postage : no exceeding half an oimce, sixpence; above half an’onnce, and not exceeding one oimce, one shilling; and so on and the Foreign Postage. The former must be prepaid, but the latter (the difference between the Colonial Ship Postage and the amounts given above) may be prepaid or left to be paid at destination, at the option of the sender.—Letters upon which the above Foreign Postage is left unpaid will b» liable to an increased charge on delivery.
Registration.—Letters addressed to any of the countries named above, may be registered, but upon all such letters the combined foreign and colonial postage must be paid in advance and in addition one shilling and sixpence for registration, except on letters addressed to Russia Poland and. which will be charged one shilling and ten pence for registration. Newspapers and printed papers.
Newspapers and Printed Papers of every kind may also be forwarded to Germany and to the following Countries through Germany at the undermentioned notes, in addition to the Colonial Postage —
