AMONGST the recent numerous innovations on, or previous rather behind the age regime, there is none in our opinion upon which we may congratulate ourselves more heartily, than upon the establishment in this City of the now world known COBB & CO. The hitherto unimpeachable reputation enjoyed elsewhere by the coaching firms trading under the above style has been in no manner sallied by the Messrs. Qaick since their arrival here ; on the contrary their attention to the comforts of the passengers, the calibre of their teams and the able handling of the ribbons by such experienced drivers as Bradley and others, to say nothing of their immunity from accident, and the punctuality with which their time-table is adhered to, has added lustre, if chat is possible, to their already good name. Their splendid eight in hand turn oat at the recent races, afforded the public some idea of the style in which this firm conducts their business, to meet the increasing requirements of which, a fresh importation of horseflesh and coaches have been received lately from the south, and extensive stables, capable, we understand, of affording accommodation for a hundred horses, are being erected by the Messrs, Quick in Victoria-street.
