MARRYATT'S CODE OF SIGNALS.

The following are Marryatt's Code of Signals. When more than one vessel is in sight, the Telegraph Flag will be hoisted under the descripbive signal of the vessel tc which it refers :

COLOURS OF THE^FLAGS. 1. Blue square, white ground. Ist. dis. pennant, white, and red 2. Blue, white, and blue. spot. 3. White and red. 2nd. do. do. blue, and white spot. 4. White cross, blue ground. 3rd. dis. pennant, red, and white 5. Bed. spot. 6. Blue, yellow, and red. Numerical pennant, yellow and 7. Yellow cross, red ground. blue. 8. Yellow square, blue ditto. Bendezvous, blue and white 9. Blue & yellw, diagonally. cheqd. 10. Blue and yellow.
