Commissariat, N«w Zealand, Auckland, October 11, 1864. j LENDERS will be received at the Office of the 8 Commissary-General, Prince's-street, Auckland, till noon on TUESDAY, the 27th day of December, 1864, for the supply of Fresh Meat (beef and mutton) to the Troops in the Province of Auckland for the year from Ist April 1865. to 31st March 1866. The Contractors will be bound to issue the killed Meat in detsil to the Troops at all places where he may be required by the Commissary-General or Officer authorised by him to do so ; and all labour, mate* ial, and accommodation at all the posts to be found by the Contractors. Payment in Treasury Bills will be made monthly for the quantities shown on the Commissariat Accounts as having been received. The Tenderer to state whether he will be prepared to extend the Contract to the other Provinces of New Zealand.
