TENDERS. To Architects. DESIGNS FOR PUBLIC BUILDINGS 1 FOE TIIK GOVERNMENT OP NEW ZEALAND. n " Auckland, March 30, 1864. THE COMMISSIONERS for the erection of Public Buildings, invite in this and the adjacent Colonies to submit to them DESIGNS and ES IIMATES for the ERECTION of the following PUBLIC BUILDINGS at AUCKLAND, viz.:— 1. GOVERNMENT HOUSE in the Domain. 2. A SUPREME COURT HOUSE and OFFICES. 3. A POST OFFICE and CUSTOM HOUSE (combined), fronting the Harbour. A Premium of £2OO will be given for the best design of each of these ttiree buildings; and J A second Premium of £IOO for the second best design. v Plans of the several sites and views, and information respecting *the amounts available for each building, the 'accommodation required, and the mode of preparing the designs, &c., are detailed in the “ Instructions to the Architects,” which may be obtained from the Secretary to the Commissioners, at Auckland, and at the several Australian Colonies and .Tasmania, from the Colonial Secretaries thereof..
