The New Zealand Agricultural Society’s ANNUAL CATTLE SHOW WILL be held at NEWMARKET, THIS DAY, Wednesday, the 12th November, 1862. COMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT. Mr. W. T. Runciman, Mr. Thomas Shepherd, Jun. Exhibitors of poultry will be required to find their own pens. Entries for sheep-shearing to be made on the ground, at the Secretary’s office by one o’clock, and the shearing will commence at two o’clock. Implements must be on the ground and placed at latest on the day previous to the Show’. All stock to be on the ground before nine o’clock, and from nine to half-past nine will be admitted on payment of double entrance fees ; none will be admitted after that hour. The receipt given by the Secretary for stock at time of entry must be delivered to the gate-keeper of the yard by the person who brings the stock, or admission will be denied. No stock exhibited to be removed from its place until after four o’clock on the day of Show. The Society will not, under any circumstances, hold itself responsible for loss, damage, or mis-delivery of live stock or other articles exhibited at the Society’s Show. Any prize may be withheld when the Judges are of opinion that there is not sufficient merit in the stock exhibited for such prize to justify, an award. All protests must be left with the Secretary before 2 o’clock on the day of the Show’. All servants coming in charge of Stock will be subject to the orders of the Director and Stewards of the Yard. The Gates will bo open for the Public at 12 o’clock. Admission, Is. each. Catalogues free. Instructions to the Director and Stewards. The Director and Stewards arc instructed to take care that no Member of Committee, Stranger, or Exhibitor, be admitted into the Cattle Yard, under any pretence whatever, until the Show Yard is open to the Public. The Committee delegates full power to the Director and Stewards to enforce all the Regulations. As soon as the Judges shall in each case have made their decision of an award, the prize animal shall be distinguished as the winner by different coloured prize cards. By the kind permission of Colonel Leslie and officers, the Band of the 40th Regiment will perform on the ground. A Dinner will he provided in a paddock adjoining the Yard at 4 o’clock. C.
