I’have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch of the Bth April (separate), forwarding an Address to Her Majesty from the inhabitants of the Province of Auckland, praying Her Majesty’s acceptance of a Cabinet, made of New Zealand woods. < I have much pleasure in informing you that Her Majesty has signified Her intention ot making an exception in this case to the general rule, and will accept this gratifying mark ot the loyalty of the inhabitants of the Province of Auckland.
