CONNELL AND RIDINGS Have received instructions from llis Excellency Colonel Wynyard, to treat for the sale of the extensive and commodious MANSION and PREMISES in Emily Place and Jermyn-slreet, now occupied as His Excellency’s residence. THE MANSION, which contains twenty apartments, may be considered as quite a new building ; the whole, with the exception of one or two minor rooms, which remain of the former dwelling house, having been erected during Colonel Wynyard’s possession of the properly. It is constructed of the best seasoned material, and no expense spared which could render it suitable for domestic accommodation and the uses of hospitality. The northern front, which o ens upon the parterre, and commands the most delightful views of the Harbour, consists of the large drawing room, dining room, and best bed chamber. The other apartments comprise, dressing rooms, library, six bed rooms, hall, four store rooms, and closets, a large kitchen 26 feel by 17, with kitchen range, etc., wine cellar, butler’s pantry, china closet and scullery, together with granary, dairy, and other out-buildings. The several courts and passages are well paved and drained; the grounds are laid out in the most tasteful manner, and protected by fancy paling, chain fencing, etc., and the approaches finished with side diains of brick work. As a speculation, this valuable properly presents singula" advantages to the capitalist. The frontage to Emily Place and Jennyn street would at any time, if sold in lots, realize a very large sum. Full particulars and terms can be learned on enquiry at the Marl, Queen-street. The Agents venture to suggest that the purchase of this properly by the Provincial Government would at once gnable the metropolitan Province to offer a suitable residence to our new Governor during the erection of a permanent Government House.
