Commissariat Office, Auckland, 22nd April, 1854. THE Contractors for the supply of Fresh Meat at Auckland having given notice of their intention to discontinue their Contract on the 50th June next, Tenders will be received at this Office until nocn of Thursday, the 4th May next, for the supply of the above article from the Ist July, 4854, to 51st March, 1854. The conditions of Contract will be the same as those published in the New Zealander newspaper of February 4th, inviting Tenders for the Annual Contracts commencing Ist April, 1854. Fred. It comprises 200 acres, •150 of which are fenced in Five Paddocks. 20 acres are in cultivation, and 50 to 40 laid in grasses. It is unenclosed, and is sliil a virgin soil, but the till land around it shews its fertile character. It were needless to do more than point to the fact that this fine sea-bound district is now closely dolled with flourishing farms, which within the last two years have doubled and trebled their value, and inner has it been so prosperous as it is at the present lime.
