The ship Factor, American bottom, from Tahiti, had been sold tbere as abandoned for repairs, and is now owned by Messrs. Hort Brothers, of that place, in conjunction with Capt. McCook, formerly of the Coquette. She left Tahiti on sth Sept., and called at Baietca, since which she has encountered very unfavourable weather. She will load timber hence for the Tahitian market. H. M. S. Calypso, left Tahiti on the Ist ult., on a cruise among the Society Islands. The Harplcy, from Launceston to London, which had put into Tahiti leaky, had undergone repairs, and resumed her voyage. The Ann, schooner, of Tahiti> was to sail in a few days for Sydney, she left there the Ann, schooner, Rodgers, and the James and Amelia, cutter, from Sydney; also, a frigate, a brig, and two steamers, French men-of-war. The Swan, which has been advertised for Tahiti, has been taken off the berth, and is now loading for Sydney, for which place she will sail on Tuesday next. The Coquette will sail about Monday, for the Navigator Islands.
