Webster, in the month of August, 1844. to Mr. John Campbell of Sydney, as Trustee for Mr. Ranulph Dacre. This is to give notice that no person is > authorised to grant permission to cut timber on the above Lands, but Mr. James Macky, of Auckland, and that any person ■or persons cutting or removing any Timber, •; from the said Lands, without an authority from the said James Macky, will be liable to action for damages and trespass.
