ENGLISH SHIPPING.
Arrived— At Griilisend, December 10, the ship Meg Merrilies, from Sydney the 16th July. 20.— The ship Ganges, from Sydney the 17th August; same day, the Psyche, from IJpbart Town. Sailed-^jMm China&or Norfolk Inland, with 200 convicts, OTnß.guard consisting of \ subaltern, 3 serjeants, 2 corporals, and' 50 rank and file of the 65th Hegiment, the latter of which will join their regiment at New Zealand. The Reflector, entered outwards for Sydney on the 6th of January, and was advertised to sail on the 15th February. The Penyard Par):, entered outwards for Sydney on the 26th December. The Mathesis, cleared! outwards for New Zealand on the 2oth December. The Madras, (under engagement to the New Zealand Company), was advertised to sail from London on the 15th March. Transportation of Convicts.— The Joseph Somes, hired convict ship, left her moorings off the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, on the 23rd December last, towed by the Lion, hired steamer, with 286 convicts for Van Diemen's Land. The convict guard of the 65th regiment, on their arrival at the penal settlement, will deliver up the convicts, and then proceed to New Zealand.
