CAUTION.
Whereas, it has been represented to us, in a Pickwickian sense, that certain parties are in the habit of assembling near the office of the New Zealand Banking Company, after the arrival of any vessel from the seat of war, and then and there, knowingly and wilfully, inventing and promulgating bad news — other than the real facts, to the manifest injury and annoyance of Her Majesty's liege subjects, and with the view of exciting a panic, and distrust of Her Majesty's forces : — Notice is hereby given, that all persons found so offending for the future, will be branded as croakers, and be incapacitated from committing such forged news for the future.
